Dave and Monika, with a daughter who's now an adult. We've been each other's shadow since 1994. A bit of yin and yang: light and dark, the sun and the moon.
Dave
Dave was a café owner, Monika managed a brasserie. You could say that giving people a great time runs in our blood: from a fresh pint and a tasty bite to a laugh and a hug.
What makes Dave so fantastic: he's incredibly sociable and empathetic — a true friend to everyone.
Monika
Monika, on the other hand, is a bit calmer: a perfectionist, passionate about hospitality.
We've been coming to Hungary since 1995, and we felt the moment had come to make our last dream come true: our own glamping.
OUR STORY
From dream to domain.
Dave and Monika find each other, and never let go again.
From the very first trip, we were fascinated by the country. We knew it right away: someday we'd live here.
Life gave us the chance. We travelled all over the country and knew: the Tisza region would become our place.
Together with Authentiek Hongaars, we searched for the perfect home. The third house was Maria's. When the gate opened, we knew: this is it.
From a farmhouse with almost 6,000 m² of garden to a glamping site, summer house, and camper spot. Welcome!
Why Tiszacsege?
The atmosphere the farmhouse radiated, and then that garden of almost 6,000 m²: we were sold right away.
Tiszacsege is the last village, and that has its advantages. The little marina is just around the corner, the fantastic fish restaurant is within walking distance, and there are plenty of shops and cafés in the village. In short: we feel right at home here.
